Part I: Collect the assets
Course 1 of 6 in Build Your First Site with Duda_archived
Get all the information and assets you'll need to build an Editor 2.0 site with us!
Welcome! This is the first course in a series of 7 courses designed to give you hands-on practice with Duda's platform and Editor 2.0. In this course, you'll meet your (fictional) client, download the assets you'll need to transform an Editor 2.0 template into a site for your client, and review the build process we're going to use across the courses in this learning path.
All courses in this path will follow a similar sequence:
- First, we'll discuss the section of the site you'll be building for your client (ex: header, hero, about section, testimonials, etc.)
- Next, we'll provide a lesson to teach you any foundational concepts you'll need to know for that portion of the development (ex: columns, layers, breakpoints, etc.)
- Finally, we'll provide you with a video and instructions you can use to follow along and build the site along with us! 🎉
At the end of this course, you'll:
- meet your fictional client
- download all the assets you'll need to transform an Editor 2.0 template for this client
- Note: these are the assets you'll use in the rest of the courses in this path!
- understand Duda's other content collection options
- review a common page development process so you'll know what to expect in the rest of the courses
For a better experience, you should have:
- Free (or paid) Duda account — sign up
- Chrome or Safari browser
